There is one thing that freelancers really hate: new, addicting games.

In my case, it is Popcap’s Plants and Zombies.

While my usual routine during the day would be to work, then play, then work once again, it was changed to play, work then play until the wee hours of the morning. It’s so addicting that I’m starting to hate it already…

I’ve read a lot of Plants & Zombies reviews, plus Plants and Zombies cheats – which explains why I got addicted to gold farming for the whole day yesterday…Ahhhh… :O

Which fairly explains the lack of blog post yesterday, as well. I truly apologize.

A warm Monday afternoon to everybody.

I guess most of us could already feel summer in the air. Boo.

While I wrote about Socialspark for my last post here, I guess a lot of you were quite disappointed as to how many freelance writing jobs were up that day (I don’t know too…) but there’s quite a number today.

Most of today’s freelance writing jobs are very interesting (read: full-time salary-based work-at-home jobs). They’re good for those who don’t want the inconsistencies of freelancing, but may be too much for the typical freelancer who loves his/her own time.

Woah. I am quite surprised at available freelance writing jobs in the Philippines via Manila craigslist; they’re quite few so I decided to postpone the post and make it into one. But alas – there are only still few postings.

Could it have been the newly released Philippine nursing board exam 2009 results?

Admit it – you might have just been disappointed with the results…I know I was. (don’t get me wrong…I don’t have anything against nursing, but I think that those who take up the course should learn to love it. They shouldn’t just study just because of the pay, but because it’s what they want…)

Oh well. Moving on.

I recently signed up with SocialSpark – a social networking tool for bloggers. I must admit I am a bit new with this blogging thingy, but signing up with them seemed like a breeze.

Sorry for the rather late post this night.

My kitten (or cat, fine) is being funny. Not that he turned into a clown…but he became lethargic the past few days.

And as a pet lover (animal lover, actually), it breaks my heart to see him NOT eating.

Funny though, because he still plays with us. It’s just stupid that he doesn’t eat (and trust me – he gulps down Whiskas in one sitting) and he only sleeps. He only drinks water, though..

I just had my third dose of Cervarix, a type of HPV vaccine in the Philippines. I hope other freelance writers won’t just forget about their health, and consider taking this step of prevention.

Some people say that the HPV vaccine is expensive, but when you think about the large benefits that it could bring to you and your family, you can call it as an investment. HPV vaccine prices in the Philippines  greatly differ amongst hospitals.

Contact me if want information about getting this vaccine at lower prices as compared to other private hospitals. And no, this isn’t an affiliate program. I just want to help other Filipinas get their vaccines at more affordable prices.

I just find it stupid that other hospitals and doctors over-charge this very important vaccine. If only we have better health funds, then maybe a lot more young women can be protected…

How time flies. It’s already the first of February.

It feels as if it was just yesterday when I started to write as a freelance writer, and then moved on to our new domain here. And wasn’t it just New Year the other day?
