New to Freelance Writing? Read on.

For those who want to become a freelance writer, I know that $2 or $3 for an article may sound lame (I’ve been there – I even started lower than that, and I still write for those rates from time to time.)

I know they sound as if they are slave rates, as others may call it, but I always thought to myself that by writing those low-paying articles, I can build on my reputation and my experience as a freelance writer.

Experience is the best teacher, and it’s the a person’s choice if he or she decides to take them. I am not saying for new freelance writers to take those jobs or gigs because it is all your choice; I am simply compiling everything that I see and I know (from experience) to be able to help those who need extra income, or those who are thinking of establishing their career in the freelance writing industry.

You can start off with Essays.ph if you want to know more about the industry. It’s safe, 100% sure, not a scam, and they will surely train you. They have trained me to be what I am now, and NO, they didn’t pay me to write this for them. :) I just love that community, and writing for them.

I don’t have any connections with the job listings – I simply compile them and put them together in this site when I see them. I know a lot of Filipinos want to try freelance writing but I think they do not know where to start – hence, this blog.

Here are some articles and posts which might be able to help you start freelance writing. I know you’re asking how to be a freelance writer, so I hope these articles would help you start your career.

Always remember to enjoy writing, maintain a positive outlook in your life, and everything else will follow :)

I’d also be happy if you’d subscribe for freelance writing jobs and leads each day, or spread the word to your other friends! You might be able to find something you like here – just go around the site and don’t hesitate to comment or contact me :p

All the best!

Kristine
