Freelance Writing Jobs, US and Philippines 10.15.09

Hello Philippines, and hello world!

[sorry for that Toni Gonzaga-ish attitude.]

A lot of people are asking me as to how they apply for the jobs that are posted here. You could always click on the link to go to the original listing, and then apply with the given email there. From now on, I’ll be including international freelance jobs, as well, together with freelance writing jobs in the Philippines to help those experienced freelancers get their leads.

However, if you are just starting as a freelance writer, I strongly suggest in taking the lower-priced freelance writing jobs. You could always work your way up! :)

BTW, I would like to thank the 2 rewriters who have applied to work with me. Keep up the good work, H.B. and H.R. :)

Anyway, it’s rather a cool morning which is perfect to relax your mind and write. So here are some freelance writing leads to help you score that writing gig! Always remember to include your best pitch, samples and folios, and get those $$$ to come your way.

  1. 24 Articles on Gardening – $3/500- to 700-word article
  2. Web Content Creator – minimum of 2500 words per day, 15k to 30k PHP a month
  3. Article/Content Writing – $1/300-word article, $2/400- to 500-word article
  4. Freelance Writers – $1/500-word article, may depend on article’s difficulty
  5. Forum Posters – $0.15 each post

Here are some which are posted outside of the Philippines. Yes, they pay high BUT you get to compete with a lot of people. Always remember to be aware of people who’d work with you, but won’t pay you in the long run.

  1. SEO Article Writer – send rates for 20 articles for articles with 250 to 450
  2. Part-time & Contract Copywriter  – $25 to $50 per hour, depending on experience
  3. Blogger Wanted for Amazon Kindle – $10/post, experiennce with the Amazon Kindle or its competitors
  4. Tech & Gadget Blogger – 16 to 23 years old for Canadian tech website

So I guess that is it for today. I hope these freelance writing jobs could help Filipino freelance writers to supplement their income and further enhance their English language.

Till the next blog! :)
