About Kristine
Kristine Clarisse Cruz is a 22-year-old part-time freelance writer in the Philippines. Although she has only been in the freelance writing industry since August 2009, she has quickly learned the ropes of writing. She once worked as a full-time work-at-home writer, but got into the Ateneo Law School in May 2010. She still writes from time to time, although her full priority now rests amongst various law books.
She graduated from the University of Santo Tomas on March 2008 with a Bachelor’s Degree in Communication Arts. After graduation, she went on a Global Internship Exchange Program under AIESEC UP Diliman, where she spent 10 months in AIESEC Radom, Poland, teaching English to Polish kids, teenagers and adults in a private language school, Filadelfia. During her stay, she picked up the language quite fast, and can now converse and write in intermediate Polish language.
She started writing through Essays.ph, and quickly moved up the ranks of getting direct international clients. Once in a while, she still writes where she first started – in Essays.ph.
She has written hundreds of writing works – from HDTVs, Xbox, healthcare careers, finance to the law of attraction.
When not writing, she makes and records her own music, or play games. A self-confessed girl gamer and technology addict, she ’s the first person her friends ask when they need advice on new technology.
She hopes to inspire and help other aspiring Filipino freelance writers with stories and tips on how she got in the freelance writing industry in a short span of time.
She’s was a part of various pools of writers for US-based and Thailand-based companies. She’s also in oDesk for other assignments, and she writes reviews regularly for Creative Commons Music and Open Source Software & Games on Frostclick.com.
